MAYAK Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any information you provide while using the MAYAK app.

1. What data we collect

When you register and use MAYAK, we collect the following data:

• Email address — to create an account and sign in to the app
• Name — shown in the app, optional
• Habit and anti-habit data — titles, life spheres, completion history
• Life-sphere ratings — results of the balance wheel assessment
• One-time actions — entries logged against life spheres, with emotions
• Focus history — the development areas you've chosen to focus on
• Profile questionnaire answers — used to generate your personality portrait
• Reminder time — for local notifications

2. How we use your data

The data we collect is used exclusively to run the app:

• Displaying your personal statistics and history
• Generating your AI portrait and personal insights via the Anthropic Claude API
• Sending email verification and password-reset messages
• Improving the quality of the service

3. Data storage

All data is stored on a secure server (VK Cloud, Russia). Data transmitted between the app and the server is encrypted via HTTPS.

4. Sharing data with third parties

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, ad networks, or partners.

Exception: to generate your personal portrait and insights, your questionnaire answers and habit data are sent to Anthropic (claude.ai) for processing. This only happens after your explicit consent. Anthropic does not retain this data for model training.

5. Access to device data

The app only requests:

• Notifications — to send reminders (at your request; can be disabled in iOS settings)

The app does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, location, or any other personal device data.

6. Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app: the "Me" tab → Settings → Delete account. Deletion takes effect immediately. You can also reach us at artur@kashirokov.ru

7. Security

Passwords are stored encrypted (bcrypt). JWT authentication tokens have a limited lifetime.
